Sign Up CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) - Fans of the World Cup gathered in sports bars and restaurants Sunday afternoon in preparation for the USA taking on Portugal.
The game is a big one for the United States.
If the team can pull off a win, the USA would accomplish two American firsts by reaching a knockout stage of consecutive World Cups and advancing with a game to spare.
At Fritz and Franz Beierhaus in Coral Gables where much of the World Cup action has been watched by fans, the crowd was a bit larger Sunday.
The World Cup fever has taken over the United States especially since the USA's win against Ghana.
The match begins at 6 p.m. eastern.
